Fran Horowitz, Abercrombie & Fitch CEO: The future of retail is small, efficient, omni stores, and they're located where the customer tells us. I get really, really excited about what this means in the operations of the business, using predictive analytics to help us forecast demand. They're worldwide, a zillion stores, and their operations and execution, aside from their merchandising, I think they're always on top of the game. I think you're going to see an interaction with someone in a setting that doesn't look like retail, but looks like a fantastic experience. Nicholas of Sam's Club: Another retail standard that is really going to be important beyond the customer is energy.

Beyond Yoga's founder Michelle Wahler, along with its Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Jesse Adams, will both be stepping down. "We have arrived at a natural inflection point for this incredible brand," Levi's incoming CEO Michelle Gass said in a statement. Retailers such as Lululemon and Nike have long dominated the category, with Beyond Yoga and Gap-owned Athleta following close behind. But upstarts such as Alo Yoga and Vuori have been nipping at their heels and taking market share. In August, Athleta named former Alo Yoga President Chris Blakeslee its next CEO.

Alo Yoga founders Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge have hired investment bank Moelis (MC.N) to advise on options that include selling a stake in the company, the sources said. No transaction structure has been agreed, and it is possible that Alo Yoga decides against any deal, said the sources, who requested anonymity because the matter is confidential. Spokespeople for Alo Yoga and Moelis declined to comment. Alo Yoga is part of Harris and DeGeorge's company Color Image Apparel, which also includes their Bella+Canvas brand. Kim Kardashian’s underwear brand Skims, which sells active and loungewear, also raised financing this year at a roughly $4 billion valuation.

Summary Rules change means former Wallabies flyhalf eligibleSamoa target Chile clash as most winnable Pool D gameFormer All Blacks Luatua and Sopoaga also featureTOULOUSE, France, Sept 14 (Reuters) - Samoa have selected 35-year-old Christian Leali'ifano, who scored the most points for Australia at the 2019 World Cup, as flyhalf in their opening Pool D clash against Chile in Bordeaux on Saturday. Samoa are taking advantage of a relaxation in World Rugby's eligibility rules, which means players who stand down for three years from appearing for one country can then play for another for which they qualify. That means they can also field former All Blacks Steven Luatua, who starts at number eight, and the versatile Lima Sopoaga as a replacement back. Former Highlanders and Wasps player Sopoaga can play at flyhalf or fullback and, while New Zealand-born, qualifies for Samoa through his family background. Samoa will target Chile, the lowest ranked team at the tournament, as their most winnable game in a pool also containing England, Argentina and Japan as they look to progress from the pool stage for the first time since 1999.

Investors should get off the sidelines on Gap given the retailer's potential for business improvement, according to Barclays. Her $13 price target implies shares could rally 26.2% from Monday's close. Yih said the company could see margin upside with a shift to cleaner inventory levels and mitigated freight challenges. Despite the opportunity to recapture some of the margin, Yih noted the company can do more work to stabilize the business and make it more malleable to consumer demand signals. Between the new management and potential for margin capture, she said the company's valuation multiple could be raised.

New York CNN —Gap has named a new CEO, from toy giant Mattel, nearly a year after its previous leader departed. The retailer announced Wednesday that Richard Dickson, currently Mattel’s president and chief operating officer, will assume the position. First the president of the Gap division and later CEO of the company beginning in 1995, Drexler pushed Gap to expand beyond jeans into khakis and oversaw the creation of the budget-chain Old Navy in 1994. It doesn’t help that Old Navy and Banana Republic are also struggling, adding to Dickson’s challenges. In short, being CEO of Gap is not for the faint of heart,” Saunders said.

Tracy Anderson charges members $900 a month to workout at her studios in LA and New York. Her former trainers said teaching in the 95-degree studios for at least four hours a day could be grueling. Members in the US pay $900 a month to learn the "Tracy Anderson Method," a dance-based workout in a room heated to 95 degrees with 75% humidity. That all sounds cool, and it also sounds like you're going to get paid pretty well," one former New York trainer said. Another former trainer said her body "was just breaking apart," adding that she quit because of the physical demands of the job.
One day around 2015, a dozen or so gift boxes showed up at the Brentwood, California, studio of the celebrity fitness trainer Tracy Anderson. "It was an exclusive boutique fitness studio," the former New York trainer said. Darren Gerrish/WireImageThe method demanded that TA trainers, most of whom were also professional dancers, perform the strenuous workouts full out, every time. Let's help you do it correctly so you don't get injured,'" the former New York trainer said. "This is at a time where everyone is already overworked," one of the former New York trainers said.

We didn't think refreshing Elon Musk's Twitter feed was how we'd spend it. Today, we're taking you inside the latest club in Silicon Valley: Elon Musk's fan club. Welcome to the Elon Musk fan club. Cue Musk's Twitter takeover: slashing headcount, revoking benefits, and cranking up productivity. Elon Musk is being forced to choose a company.
When it comes to digital fashion, though, the possibilities are boundless. Over the years, I've collaborated with celebrities like Karlie Kloss, Paris Hilton, and Elton John on personalized collections for the metaverse. Certain brands I've worked with have asked me to create virtual replicas of their existing merchandise. Digital fashion has already evolved from a cryptic concept to a familiar notion. I see myself eventually creating traditional clothing from my metaverse designs — developing ideas, designing, and simulating pieces digitally before transforming then into tangible, wearable pieces.
